Discover a new angle on green technology.

Join us for a Community Open House held at the Syracuse Center of Excellence headquarters, and see sustainabilty from a whole new point of view. 

On Saturday, March 6^th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., SyracuseCoE will host a Community Open House, where all are welcome to take tours of the facility; learn from technology demonstrations; meet collaborators and discover SyracuseCoE sustainability projects; enjoy musical entertainment from local performers, including Samba Laranja: The Syracuse University Brazilian Ensemble and Sophistafunk; watch a short documentary about SyracuseCoE; and hear from Onondaga Faithkeeper Oren Lyons and Onondaga Nation Chief Jake Edwards. SyracuseCoE Executive Director Ed Bogucz and Environmental Finance Center Director Sara Pesek will offer welcoming remarks.

Directions:

We encourage sustainable transportation options, especially with limited street parking at the dedication site and more than 400 attendees expected. While a small number of lots will be available adjacent to the headquarters building on Saturday, we encourage you to park at Manley Field House on Syracuse University campus and take a Connective Corridor bus.

From the north:
Take I-81S to the Harrison Street exit in Syracuse, turn right onto South Townsend, then take the third right onto East Washington Street.

From the south:
Take I-81N to the Almond Street exit in Syracuse, then drive seven blocks to East Washington Street. The SyracuseCoE HQ is on the corner of Almond and East Washington.

From the east & west:
Take I-90 to exit 35A (I-81S) and follow directions south.
